A Faculty Development Programme was successfully organized by the Christian College of Engineering & Technology with the objective of enhancing teaching effectiveness, pedagogical innovation, and professional growth among faculty members. The primary focus of the programme was to guide educators on how they can improve their teaching methods and strategies in response to the evolving demands of higher education. The programme was further enriched by the gracious presence of Rev. Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese, who addressed the session with an inspiring message.

He highlighted the importance of continuous self-improvement among educators and stressed that effective teaching strategies are essential for shaping competent and responsible students. His address reinforced the idea that teaching is both a responsibility and a transformative practice. The event featured Dr. Subhashish. Sanyal from NIT Raipur, as the invited speaker. His session was highly insightful, concentrating on practical approaches to refining classroom practices, adopting learner-centric methodologies, and integrating modern teaching strategies. He emphasized the need for adaptability in teaching, encouraging faculty members to move beyond conventional methods and embrace interactive, research-oriented, and technology-driven approaches.

The event was conducted under the leadership of the Principal, Dr. Jeetendra Tiwari, whose vision consistently promotes academic excellence and innovation. He has been a strong advocate of faculty development initiatives, encouraging educators to upgrade their teaching methodologies and align them with contemporary educational standards. The Vice Principal, Dr. Archana Choudhary, also played a significant role in the successful organization of the programme. Her continuous support and academic coordination have contributed to creating a conducive environment for professional learning and collaborative growth among faculty members. Faculty members from various departments actively participated, engaging in discussions on effective teaching strategies and sharing their experiences. Overall, the Faculty Development Programme served as a valuable platform for educators to reflect upon and enhance their teaching methods and strategies. It successfully emphasized the importance of continuous pedagogical improvement and inspired faculty members to adopt innovative, student-centered approaches in their academic practices.
