(a) A high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Union Culture and Tourism Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to review the district-level preparedness to effectively deal with emergency situations at Jodhpur
(b) Red Alert in Sri Ganganagar and Barmer
(c) Blackouts in progress as declared earlier
(d) Sri Ganganagar district administration has prohibited uploading photographs/videos of important army related institutions, army movement, deployment of army vehicles/equipment, military activities on social media as it may pose a threat to national security
(e) 9 suspects have been taken into custody from near strategically important places in Jaisalmer Fireworks have been prohibited by Jodhpur district
administration
(g) A mock drill was organized at Jodhpur Railway Hospital
(h) As per RBI communication, all Bank Branches of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Phalodi, Hanumangarh and Jodhpur districts will open on Saturday and Sunday
(i)Director State Education has given instructions that if in the border districts, exams of open schools are affected, thenthe students will be provided an opportunity to sit in the next exams free of cost
(j)Jodhpur Airport is closed for passengers till 14th May
