St. Thomas College successfully organized an Open Campus Placement Drive for reputed Banks and NBFCs on 11th May 2026 at the Conference Hall of the college campus. The drive was conducted to provide students with excellent career opportunities in the banking and financial services sector across PAN India.

The placement drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 55 students from various nearby colleges including BIT, Rungta College and Shankara College along with students of St. Thomas College.

The briefing and orientation session was conducted by Anshuman Mishra, who collaborated with reputed banks and financial institutions featured in the placement drive poster. He informed students about nearly 30 job openings available in leading banking and NBFC organizations and guided them regarding the recruitment process, interview preparation, communication skills, professional expectations, and career growth opportunities in the banking sector.

The participating organizations included ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, AU Small Finance Bank and other reputed NBFCs. Recruitment opportunities were offered for positions such as Sales Relationship Manager, Assistant Manager, and Deputy Manager.

The program was graced by the presence of Administrator Fr. P. S. Varghese, Principal Dr. Shiny Mendonce, Dean Academics Dr. Debjani Mukherjee, Training and Placement Coordinator Dr. Sunita Kshatriya and Member Dr. Rincey B Abraham.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. P. S. Varghese motivated the students to stay confident, disciplined, and committed towards their career goals. He blessed all the participants for their bright and successful future and appreciated the efforts of the Training and Placement Cell for organizing such a meaningful initiative.

Principal of the college Dr. Shiny Mendonce also extended her best wishes and blessings to the students.

The placement drive proved to be a highly beneficial platform for students to gain exposure to the professional recruitment process and explore promising employment opportunities in the banking and financial services sector.
