Management Development Program on “Leadership” Concludes Successfully at IIM Raipur The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur successfully concluded a transformative fiveday Executive Leadership Program for the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) – Batch III, Phase I – held from July 21 to 25, 2025. The program brought together participants from various SAIL units and was specifically designed to strengthen strategic leadership capabilities and enable them to navigate complex organizational challenges effectively. 

The program covered a broad spectrum of contemporary leadership themes such as the fundamentals of business, wellbeing & mental health at work, interpersonal interaction & communication, decision-making in organisation, digital intelligence for business, digital transformation and operation, team dynamics, finance essentials for business leaders, identifying and managing strategic risk, business environment & organizational performance, social diversity & work effectiveness, strategic leadership, organisational crisis management, development of organisational competency, cost leadership & lean management, and supply chain management. Participants benefited from an engaging and interactive learning experience under the expert guidance of distinguished faculty members, including Director-in-Charge Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, along with Prof. Satyasiba Das, Prof. Sumeet Gupta, Prof. Saroj Kumar Pani, Prof. Archana Parashar, Prof. Mohit Goswami, Prof. Ranjan Das Gupta, and Prof. Rahul Hiremath. The pedagogical approach blended case studies, hands-on workshops, reflective group discussions, and action learning projects, making the learning both impactful and practical. Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Prof. Himanshu Srivastava, and Prof. Indirah Indibara are the Program Directors, who have designed and coordinated the program to ensure a holistic coverage of the relevant topics. Participants expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to learn from experienced faculty and commended the program's interactive and application-oriented format. 

The program concluded with a valedictory ceremony graced by Shri Pawan Kumar (Executive Director - HR, SAIL), Prof. Sanjeev Prashar (Director-in-Charge, IIM Raipur), Prof. Himanshu Srivastava, and Prof. Indirah Indibara (Program Directors), where the key takeaways and achievements of the participants were acknowledged and celebrated.
