The 155th meeting of the Railway Board Official Language Implementation Committee was organized by the Railway Board, where 25 employees were honored for their outstanding contribution to the official language. The meeting was held at Rail Bhawan and was chaired by Member (Operations and Business Development), Shri Hitendra Malhotra.

During the meeting, Shri Malhotra released the 141st issue of the official language magazine 'Rail Rajbhasha' and the booklet 'Railbani' (Indian Railways – A Melange of Regional Languages). In his presidential address, he expressed satisfaction with the efforts and programs being undertaken by the Official Language Directorate of the Railway Board for the progressive use of the official language. He also suggested that a presentation on the works of Hindi litterateurs and their contribution to Hindi literature be included in future meetings.

Member (Finance), Smt. Usha Venugopal, suggested that committee members work towards better implementation of the official language. Member (Traction and Rolling Stock), Shri B. M. Agarwal, emphasized that the use of the official language is a constitutional responsibility, and advised all members to continuously strive to achieve the targets related to its use.

The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the official language in the Railway Board and its undertakings for the quarter ending March 2025. Subsequently, 25 employees who made outstanding contributions to the official language in the zonal railways were awarded the Kamalapati Tripathi Official Language Gold Medal and the Railway Minister's Official Language Silver Medal.
