 In order to promote Self-Employment among Graduates residing in rural areas, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand University (CSVTU) announces an Agripreneur-Internship scheme, starting from the first week of May 2023.

 Under the umbrella of CSVTU-Foundation for Rural Technology and Entrepreneurship (CSVTU-FORTE), the Section-8 company of CSVTU, this internship program will run for the duration of two months. The interns will get all the necessary exposure to techniques of natural and organic farming, and will be given field training by renowned experts; they will also learn the economics of organic farming with opportunities for live interaction with the farmers. They will also learn branding of rural products, their packaging, marketing and linkages to the current Govt. schemes on organic farming. As a social responsibility, the interns will propagate awareness and extend basic training in organic farming to local farmers and students of constituent colleges of CSVTU Bhilai.

During this internship program the candidates will be provided with a stipend of Rs. 7000/- per month and performance-based Incentives. The selected candidates will also be given seed money of up to Rs. One Lakh to establish their own business/enterprise with Mentoring, 

Handholding and Marketing support from CSVTU-FORTE. In addition to this, the best￾performing interns with a viable business plan may also be offered an incubation facility at CSVTU –FORTE with seed funding of up to Rs 10 lakh as per the procedure of i-TBI, CSVTU Bhilai. 

In lieu of this, the candidate has to sign an MoU with CSVTU-FORTE for mutual growth and benefit.Applications are invited from the pass-out students of CSVTU Bhilai with any branch of study. A limited number of seats are also open for outside candidates with relevant exposure; BSc￾Agriculture, BSc-Chemistry and BBA/MBA- Sales and Marketing students will be given preference.
