St. Thomas College, Bhilai, organized a heartfelt farewell ceremony to honor Dr. Joyamma John, Assistant Professor of Zoology, on the occasion of her retirement after completing 23 years of dedicated and exemplary service to the institution.

The function was attended by faculty members and staff who gathered to celebrate Dr. Joyamma John’s remarkable academic journey and invaluable contributions to the college. Throughout her distinguished tenure, she played a pivotal role in strengthening the Department of Zoology, mentoring generations of students, and contributing significantly to the academic excellence and overall growth of the institution.

Principal In-charge Dr. Shiny Mendonce lauded Dr. Joyamma John for her commitment, sincerity, and unwavering dedication to teaching and student development. College Administrator Dr. P. S. Varghese also expressed his deep appreciation for her outstanding service and acknowledged her lasting contribution to the progress of the institution over the years. He conveyed the gratitude of the Management for her invaluable service and wished her a fulfilling and happy retired life.

As a token of gratitude and respect, a memento was presented to Dr. Joyamma John in recognition of her distinguished service and steadfast commitment to St. Thomas College, Bhilai. Colleagues fondly recalled her professional excellence, academic achievements, and the positive impact she had on both students and fellow faculty members.

Dr. Jayshree Balasubramaniam, Head of the Department of Zoology, expressed her heartfelt appreciation and thanked Dr. Joyamma John for her dedicated service, guidance, and significant contributions to the department.
