Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur successfully concluded a transformative three-day Women Leadership Excellence Program for women leaders of the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT). Conducted from 05th to 07th May 2026, the program brought together participants from multiple business units with the objective of strengthening strategic leadership capabilities and enabling participants to navigate complex organizational challenges in a rapidly evolving business landscape.
The leadership development initiative was designed to enhance participants’ ability to lead with clarity, confidence, and impact in today’s dynamic environment. The program covered a comprehensive range of themes including Leadership: Demystified, Leadership DNA, Understanding Self: Leadership Styles, Stress Management, Crisis & Change Management, Alignment with Vision & Mission, Goal Setting, Decision Making & Problem Solving, Interpersonal Communication and Handling Difficult Conversations, Feedback, Coaching & Mentoring Skills, Emotional Intelligence for Women Leaders, Building Inclusive & Positive Work Culture, Building High-Performing Teams, Influence & Building Positive Values, and Personal Leadership Action Planning.
The program adopted a highly interactive and application-oriented pedagogy, enabling participants to engage deeply with the concepts through management games, case analyses, experiential workshops, psychological testing, reflective group discussions, self-narration exercises, situation analyses, critical incident discussions, and action-learning activities. The learning experience emphasized practical frameworks, peer learning, and structured self-reflection, ensuring participants could effectively translate classroom insights into measurable workplace outcomes.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Sanjeev Prashar, Director In-Charge, IIM Raipur and Program Director, along with distinguished faculty members who curated and coordinated the curriculum to ensure holistic coverage of critical leadership dimensions.
Participants expressed strong appreciation for the depth and relevance of the sessions, the expertise of the faculty, and the interactive nature of the learning experience.
