The two-day National Conference on Recent Trends in Nanotechnology (NCRTN-2026) successfully concluded at the Christian College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Bhilai. The event, held on February 25th and 26th, was organized in a prestigious collaboration with St. Thomas, Bhilai, and in technical association with the Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg. The conference served as a high-level intersection for scientists, industry experts, and research scholars to deliberate on the burgeoning field of nano-science and its multi-disciplinary applications.

Principal Dr. Jeetendra Tiwari of CCET Bhilai welcomed the delegates, highlighting the importance of institutional collaboration. Representatives from St. Thomas, Bhilai, and BIT Durg emphasized that such academic partnerships are essential for pooling resources and expertise to solve complex engineering challenges. The association with BIT Durg provided a robust peer-review framework for the research papers presented, ensuring high academic standards. Meanwhile, the collaboration with St. Thomas expanded the conference's reach to include diverse perspectives on the ethical and educational implications of nanotechnology in modern curricula.

The Executive Vice Chairman, Fr. Dr. P. S. Varghese has emphasized that CCET Bhilai’s commitment to offering specialized M.Tech programs in Nanotechnology is not just about academic excellence, but about creating solutions for society.. He expressed profound gratitude for the collaboration with St. Thomas, Bhilai, and the technical association with Bhilai Institute of Technology (BIT), Durg.

The conference featured keynote addresses and technical sessions focusing on Green Nanotechnology, Nano-Medicine, Material Science, Sustainable Energy and many more.

Speaking at the valedictory ceremony, the Principal of CCET Bhilai remarked, "Nanotechnology is no longer the future; it is the present. By hosting this national conference, CCET continues its legacy of providing a platform for high-level technical discourse and fostering an environment of innovation for our students and faculty alike."

The event concluded with a "Best Paper Award" and Best Paper presenter ceremony, recognizing young researchers for their groundbreaking contributions to the field.

"This conference has not only showcased groundbreaking research but has also strengthened the academic bond between Bhilai’s premier technical institutions," stated the Organizing Secretary during the closing remarks.

नैनो प्रौद्योगिकी में हाल के रुझानों पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन (एनसीआरटीएन-2026) क्रिश्चियन कॉलेज ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (सीसीईटी), भिलाई में सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। 25 और 26 फरवरी को आयोजित यह कार्यक्रम सेंट थॉमस, भिलाई के साथ प्रतिष्ठित सहयोग और भिलाई इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (बीआईटी), दुर्ग के तकनीकी सहयोग से आयोजित किया गया था। यह सम्मेलन वैज्ञानिकों, उद्योग विशेषज्ञों और शोधकर्ताओं के लिए नैनो विज्ञान के बढ़ते क्षेत्र और इसके बहु-विषयक अनुप्रयोगों पर विचार-विमर्श करने का एक उच्च स्तरीय मंच साबित हुआ।

सीसीईटी भिलाई के प्रिंसिपल डॉ. जीतेंद्र तिवारी ने प्रतिनिधियों का स्वागत करते हुए संस्थागत सहयोग के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। सेंट थॉमस, भिलाई और बीआईटी दुर्ग के प्रतिनिधियों ने इस बात पर बल दिया कि जटिल इंजीनियरिंग चुनौतियों को हल करने के लिए संसाधनों और विशेषज्ञता को साझा करने हेतु इस प्रकार की शैक्षणिक साझेदारियां आवश्यक हैं। बीआईटी दुर्ग के सहयोग से प्रस्तुत शोध पत्रों के लिए एक मजबूत सहकर्मी-समीक्षा ढांचा उपलब्ध हुआ, जिससे उच्च शैक्षणिक मानकों को सुनिश्चित किया जा सका। इस बीच, सेंट थॉमस के सहयोग से सम्मेलन का दायरा बढ़ा और आधुनिक पाठ्यक्रमों में नैनो तकनीक के नैतिक और शैक्षिक निहितार्थों पर विविध दृष्टिकोणों को शामिल किया गया।

कार्यकारी उपाध्यक्ष, फादर डॉ. पी. एस. वर्गीस ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि सीसीईटी भिलाई की नैनो तकनीक में विशिष्ट एम.टेक कार्यक्रम प्रदान करने की प्रतिबद्धता केवल अकादमिक उत्कृष्टता तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि समाज के लिए समाधान तैयार करने के बारे में भी है। उन्होंने सेंट थॉमस, भिलाई के साथ सहयोग और भिलाई इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी (बीआईटी), दुर्ग के साथ तकनीकी सहयोग के लिए गहरी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की।
