Asal Baat news. 

The Astro Club of Bhilai Institute of Technology (B.I.T.), Durg organised a successful educational outreach program on January 27, 2026, at Government Higher Secondary School, Chicha. The program aimed to promote scientific awareness and develop interest in space science among students.

During the program, club members delivered simple and engaging lectures on how GPS works in mobile phones and the life of astronauts in space.

 Along with this, various science experiments were conducted to promote practical learning and hands-on understanding among students.

In addition, an evening stargazing session using telescopes was organised for local villagers, where the Moon and other celestial objects were observed. The session generated curiosity and enthusiasm for astronomy among the rural community.

The program was conducted under the leadership of Shikhar Tamrakar, Sakshi Dewangan, Ishan Kumar Sahu, Aditi Singh, Mominul Hussain, U Rajat, Shubham Pradhan, Mayank Kumar, Ankush Patel, Shourya Ambasta, Jeet Verma, Aanchal Sharma, Falak Ambade, Shradha Kushwaha, Preyansh Choudhary, Pragati Banafer, Ishmeet Kaur, Aayush Sharma, Laukik Chandrakar, and K Rohit.

The Astro Club reaffirmed its commitment to continue such initiatives in the future to nurture scientific thinking among students and society.
