मुख्यमंत्री श्री विष्णुदेव साय ने राष्ट्रीय प्रेस दिवस 16 नवंबर के अवसर पर मीडिया जगत से जुड़े सभी लोगों को बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दी है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता हमारे लोकतंत्र की विशेषता और आधारशिला है। निष्पक्ष प्रेस और निर्भीक पत्रकारिता स्वस्थ लोकतंत्र के लिए आवश्यक है। मीडिया नागरिकों को उनके अधिकार और दायित्व के प्रति सचेत कर देशहित व लोकहित के प्रति जागरूक करता है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने कहा कि भारतीय प्रेस दिवस भारत जैसे जीवंत लोकतंत्र में स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष प्रेस के महत्व और योगदान को याद करने का दिन है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री साय ने राष्ट्रीय प्रेस दिवस पर आशा व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि मीडिया अपनी प्रखरता, संवेदनशीलता और सत्यनिष्ठा के साथ लोकतंत्र के पथ को और अधिक प्रकाशमान करता रहेगा।
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Extends Greetings on National Press Day
Raipur, 16 November 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended greetings and best wishes to all the members of media fraternity on the occasion of National Press Day, observed on 16 November.
In his message, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that freedom of expression is both the hallmark and the foundation of India’s democracy. He emphasised that an impartial press and courageous journalism are indispensable to a healthy democratic society. He said that the media plays a vital role in creating awareness among citizens regarding their rights and responsibilities, besides reporting on the subjects of national and public interest.
Shri Sai further stated that National Press Day is a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the invaluable contribution of a free and fair press in a vibrant democracy like India.
Expressing hope on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the media will continue to illuminate the path of democracy with its ethics, sensitivity and unwavering commitment to truth.
