वित्तीय सेवा विभाग (वित्त मंत्रालय), भारत सरकार तथा भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में “आपकी पूंजी, आपका अधिकार” शीर्षक से एक विशेष राष्ट्रीय जनजागरूकता अभियान देशभर में संचालित किया जा रहा है। इस अभियान के अंतर्गत 10 वर्ष या उससे अधिक समय से निष्क्रिय पड़े बैंक खातों, बिना दावा की गई जमा राशि, बीमा दावों तथा न्यूट्रलाइज्ड फंड से संबंधित अदेय राशियों के निपटान हेतु नागरिकों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है। इस पहल के तहत 24 अक्टूबर 2025 को देश के 25 जिलों में एक दिवसीय मेगा कैम्प आयोजित होंगे, जिनमें छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के कोरबा और राजनांदगांव जिले भी शामिल हैं।

इस राष्ट्रीय अभियान का उद्देश्य उन खाताधारकों, बीमा धारकों अथवा उनके उत्तराधिकारियों को उनकी वैध राशि एवं दावे का भुगतान सुनिश्चित करना है, जो वर्षों से अप्राप्त हैं।राजनांदगांव जिले में गांधी सभागृह में जिला स्तरीय जागरूकता एवं समाधान शिविर आयोजित किया जाएगा, जिसका समय प्रातः 11 बजे से सायं 5 बजे तक रहेगा। इस दौरान सभी बैंकों और जीवन बीमा कंपनियों के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहेंगे। शिविर में खातों की पुनः केवाईसी (Re-KYC) की प्रक्रिया मौके पर पूर्ण की जाएगी तथा बिना दावा की गई जमा राशि और बीमा पॉलिसियों (Unclaimed Policies) के निपटान हेतु सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।

साथ ही, भारत सरकार की प्रमुख सामाजिक सुरक्षा योजनाओं जैसे प्रधानमंत्री जनधन योजना, प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना, प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षा बीमा योजना तथा अटल पेंशन योजना का पंजीकरण भी वहीं किया जाएगा। नागरिकों को प्रधानमंत्री सूर्य घर योजना एवं प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि योजना की जानकारी भी दी जाएगी।

कोरबा जिले में यह मेगा कैम्प 24 अक्टूबर 2025 को प्रातः 10 बजे से सायं 4 बजे तक भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (एस.बी.आई.) के क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय भवन, आईटीआई रामपुर कॉलोनी परिसर में आयोजित होगा। इस आयोजन में सरकारी विभागों, वित्तीय संस्थानों, बीमा कंपनियों तथा आम नागरिकों की व्यापक भागीदारी होगी।

लीड बैंक अधिकारी श्री मुनीश शर्मा ने बताया कि यह अभियान जिला कलेक्टर के मार्गदर्शन में संचालित किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने सभी शासकीय, अशासकीय, विभागीय तथा आम नागरिक खाताधारकों से अपील की कि वे अपने आवश्यक दस्तावेजों सहित शिविर में उपस्थित होकर अपनी राशि, बीमा दावा या निष्क्रिय खातों का निपटान कराएं।

बैंक अधिकारियों ने कहा कि यह पहल उन नागरिकों के लिए अत्यंत लाभकारी सिद्ध होगी जिनकी पूंजी वर्षों से निष्क्रिय खातों या अप्राप्त दावों में अटकी हुई है। नागरिकों से आग्रह किया गया है कि वे सरकार द्वारा संचालित इस जनहितकारी अभियान में सक्रिय भागीदारी कर अपने अधिकार का लाभ उठाएं।

Nationwide Mega Camp on October 24 for Settlement of 10-Year-Old Inoperative Accounts and Unclaimed Deposits — Special Camps in Korba and Rajnandgaon Districts

Under the joint  initiative of the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), a special nationwide public awareness campaign titled “Aapki Punji, Aapka Adhikar” (Your Money, Your Right) is being conducted across the country. The campaign aims to create awareness among citizens regarding the settlement of bank accounts that have remained inoperative for over ten years, unclaimed deposits, insurance claims, and neutralized funds. As part of this initiative, one-day Mega Camps will be organized on October 24, 2025, in 25 districts across India, including Korba and Rajnandgaon districts of Chhattisgarh.

The objective of this national campaign is to ensure that account holders, insurance policyholders, or their legal heirs receive their rightful amounts and pending claims that have remained unclaimed for years.

In Rajnandgaon district, a District-Level Awareness and Resolution Camp will be organized at Gandhi Sabhagrah from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Representatives from all banks and life insurance companies will participate in the event. On-the-spot completion of Re-KYC (Re-Know Your Customer) procedures will be facilitated, and assistance will be provided for the settlement of unclaimed deposits and unclaimed insurance policies.

In addition, registration for the Government of India’s flagship social security schemes — Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) — will also be conducted at the camp. Citizens will also receive integrated information about the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana.

In Korba district, the Mega Camp will be held on October 24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Office building, ITI Rampur Colony campus. The event will see participation from government departments, financial institutions, insurance companies, and the general public.

Lead Bank Officer Mr. Munish Sharma stated that the campaign is being organized under the guidance of the District Collector. He appealed to all government, non-government, institutional, and individual account holders to attend the camp with the necessary documents to settle their pending claims, reactivate dormant accounts, and reclaim their due amounts.

Bank officials remarked that this initiative will greatly benefit citizens whose funds have remained inactive or unclaimed for years. Citizens are encouraged to participate actively in this public welfare campaign launched by the Government of India and avail themselves of their rightful claims under the “Aapki Punji, Aapka Adhikar” initiative.
