Asal Baat news. 

An induction programme of Certificate Course on Personality Development was held In the Department of English. The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Mercy George, Head, Dept. of English, who detailed and guided the curriculum through the academic framework.

She further added about the course objectives on how to foster personal growth, self-confidence, communication, leadership, and emotional intelligence to help students to become a more positive, effective, and confident  version of themselves in both their personal and professional lives. Dr. George also elucidated about verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation skills, public speaking, interview skills and time-management with the tools to navigate social situations and career challenges with confidence. She also familiarized the students with the examination pattern and the marking scheme of the course. 

The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Somya Reddy, a PG student of Semester III. The program served as a meaningful orientation, acquainting the new batch with the academic, literary, and resourceful environment of the department. The program successfully drew the inference in the presence of thirty eight students along with the departmental faculty members Dr. Meena Maan, Dr. Seema Panjwani, Dr. Monika Sharma and Dr. Rajshree Naidu.
