Asal Baat news.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Club of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur organized an anti-drug rally on 23rd June 2025, as part of the “Anti-Drug Campaign” and “Mission Drug-Free Campus.” The event aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and illegal drug trafficking, encouraging people to stay away from such practices.
This initiative was organized under the nationwide anti-drug campaign being conducted by the Government of India from 12th to 26th June 2025.
The rally was held under the guidance of NCC Faculty-in-Charge Dr. Jitendra Kumar Raut and Mr. Kamal Singh Mann. Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Manoj Chopkar, also played a significant role in ensuring the successful execution of the program.
A large number of faculty members and students participated in the rally, raising impactful slogans like “Hum Sabka Ek Hi Naara, Nasha Mukt Ho Desh Hamara” (We all have one slogan — A drug-free nation) and “Nashe Ki Lat Hai Aisi, Jo Kar De Zindagi Narak Jaisi” (Addiction is such a curse, it turns life into hell), promoting a strong message against substance abuse.
The rally reflected the institute’s commitment to fostering a healthy, drug-free academic environment and inspiring youth to lead by example in building a safe and responsible society.
